To say that it's been quite some time since my last post would be much of an understatement. It's been over a month! It has been an interesting month filled with both ups and downs. Oddly enough, this is the last post on Ayacucho since I'll be leaving tomorrow (Thursday) evening to head back to Lima (only briefly) and then on to Huaraz (in the Cordilleras). It's been quite exciting, and I've learned a lot about Ayacucho and its people during these past six weeks. I'll try to upload some pictures here soon. I have a fair number of photos on my facebook page, so please check out my albums for more on the sights in and around Ayacucho.
Next stop: Huaraz!
