I realized that I hadn't put up any photos yet. Connection speeds aren't exactly ideal.
I just finished another long run through the countryside. This mostly involved getting lost and lots of walking up and down hills. Ran out to Lake Mugasera (that tiny spot of light blue to the left of the flag pole and above the bench in the picture below) and took a wrong turn that had me traveling uphill for 2 or 3 miles only to discover at the top that I was in Nzige, a district I had never even heard of! Luckily, some kids knew how to get me back in the direction of Rubona/Agahozo, and this involved backtracking another 3ish miles and then another 40 minutes of uphill, midday traveling to get back to our village. Had a shower, lots of water, and a FANTASTIC lunch that included avocados and inyama y'inka (cow meat!!!). More pictures and stories to come soon. These are all from the first couple of weeks, and I haven't had a chance to get all my more recent photos together. Enjoy!
